Anita Sullivan grew up in Mendenhall, Mississippi and later moved to Ridgeland, Mississippi. Anita paints exclusively out of her home in Ridgeland. Anita is a very talented and detailed artist with hundreds of portraits in private homes. She has an special ability to caputre not only the subject, but their personality as well. Through her detailed strokes, she conveys a sense of liveliness and vitality in her work. Anita is a member of the South Mississippi Art Association. Anita has some of her work hanging at Jackson Street Gallery.
